HOW WE MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN
My love for capturing nature colliding with being creative, led me to want to learn how to photograph (I really wish I paid more attention in my college class). Fernando and my Mom bought me a dslr camera one Christmas and since then I probably have taken roughly 75,000+ photos. The photos range from our everyday life, our businesses, vacations and of course my love for nature.
Through the years we have collected a bunch of cameras and accessories. Below you will find our current arsenal of gear. We’ve also included some of our must have packing essentials.

CAMERA GEAR
Our camera gear has gotten pretty extensive throughout the years. It all started with our dslr camera. I’m (Kristin) the one that takes the majority of our photos while Nando is the one that flies the drone. I don’t think I’m allowed to fly it anymore. Ask Nando for that story, you know he always has one.
CANON EOS REBEL T7 DSLR CAMERA
We have the older model of this camera, the Canon T3i. They have since discontinued our model, so we’re going to recommend the equivalent of our current camera.
DJI MAVIC 2 PRO DRONE
This was a must have on our list of camera vlogging gear. The clear and crisp video this drone takes is breathtaking. This is a great bundle to start with.
DJI INTELLIGENT FLIGHT BATTERY
Since the batteries only last for roughly 25-30 minutes, it’s smart to have a few of these all charged up and ready to go. It’s a simple swap out .
GOPRO HERO 7 BLACK
What a great little camera. We used this a lot throughout our trip to Italy and loved that it wasn’t bulky and the best part it takes video under water.
RODE VIDEO MICROPHONE
This microphone will improve the audio quality of your videos. At first we felt funny walking around with this, but you eventually will get used to it.
SCREEN PROTECTOR FOR GOPRO
We were happy we had these on the GoPro, when it accidentally fell on the floor. It’s definitely worth the small investment to protect your gear.
SANDISK 64GB ULTRA MICROSD CARD
You never know when you’re going to run out of space. Grab a few of these so you can capture all of the fun you have on your next adventure.
SMATREE ALUMINUM THUMBSCREW SET
Helps you to easily tighten and loosen screws between camera mount and camera for your Gopro Hero 7. It also adds a nice touch of color.
WATER RESISTANT ANTI-SHOCK SD STORAGE HOLDER
A great way to store all your SD cards. It holds up to 24 SD cards (12 SD + 12 Micro SD). We have found it to be super useful.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL VLOGGING CASE
This was a great tool for when we mount the case to our dash to grab some road footage.
STAINLESS STEEL TETHER LANYARDS
We have yet to use the tether lanyards yet, but Nando got them for when we mount the GoPro to the outside of our vehicle. Will update soon.
ALUMINUM TRIPOD MOUNT
The tripod mount allows you to mount the GoPro on a tripod.
ALUMINUM DSLR SLR TRIPOD
A sleek, stylish and super sturdy tripod. Our really old ones had to be tossed and this was the perfect replacement.
SAMSUNG T5 PORTABLE SSD - 1TB - EXTERNAL
It’s incredible how small this is yet it holds so much photo and video storage. We have a few to hold all our precious memories.
CASE FOR PORTABLE HARD DRIVE
Protect your portable hard drive with this nifty case. Holds all the necessary wires. Case is semi-waterproof and shockproof.
MAVIC PRO BATTERY SAFE STORAGE BAGS
Definitely a necessity when traveling. It protects you and prevents a potential battery overheat or explosion.
Manfrotto PIXI Mini Tripod, Black (MTPIXI-B)
This has been the perfect mini tripod.
THINK TANK PHOTO DSLR BATTERY HOLDER
Holds up to 4 batteries and is very compact.
THINK TANK AIRPORT COMMUTER BACKPACK
You’re probably wondering where we hold all this camera gear, right? We tried out a bunch of backpacks before arriving at this one. It holds EVERYTHING.
ULTRA BRIGHT LED VIDEO LIGHT
While it is a little embarrassing to have this on at night, it works wonders. You’ll see in one of our videos how it lights up the night.
8-In-1 TYPE C HUB WITH ETHERNET PORT
When we upgraded our computer, we needed some USB ports. Keep in mind that depending on what computer you have, this might not be what you are looking for.

PACKING ESSENTIALS
Ever since we started dating, we always had that itch to travel. Each time we head out on another adventure, our list of packing essentials gets bigger and bigger. We think we’ve finally narrowed down some of our favorites.
EBAGS WEEKENDER BACKPACK
This is the perfect backpack for a long weekend wherever you go. If you don’t want to roll a piece of luggage or two around, just throw this on your back and you’re good to go. It holds more than it looks, such as your laptop, your clothes of course and it has many compartments for all your accessories and belongings.
COMPRESSION BAGS FOR TRAVEL
Kristin was searching and searching for the perfect packing cubes. After comparing the packing cubes with the compression bags we picked these up for our Italy trip. They worked out great and you can put a lot more clothes in your luggage. Try em out and let us know what you think.
22-OUNCE BPA-FREE GLASS WATER BOTTLE
These glass bottles have been a life saver. After you go through security at the airport, find the nearest water fountain and start to fill up. You’ll also be happy to have it on a long hike, a nice walk in whatever destination your traveling to or even the theme park. Definitely don’t leave home without it.
WISE OWL OUTFITTERS CAMPING TOWELS
Kristin bought these thinking that they would be a waste of money, but boy was she wrong. On our trip to Bagni di San Filippo in Italy, we were so happy to have them. These easily slipped into our luggage and didn’t take up much space. They were also great for when we spent the day on Mondello Beach in Palermo.
DIGITAL HANGING LUGGAGE SCALE
This is a great tool if you are planning on checking a bag. Purchase souvenirs and not worry if you went over the weight.
THE BODY SHOP MINI BAMBOO HAIRBRUSH
Nando might have laughed at me for wanting this brush. However we wanted to start traveling lighter, so in my eyes it was a necessity. BTW it’s great!
ZOTE LAUNDRY SOAP BAR - 7OZ.
Here’s another item Nando wasn’t sure about. We were both happy to have clean clothes and not have to go to a laundromat.
COMPRESSION SOCKS FOR CIRCULATION
Your feet will thank me for this recommendation. These are great for long flights, your feet and legs don’t swell up. A great addition to your packing essentials.
MINI TRAVEL AUTOMATIC UMBRELLA
After coming home from a rainy day in Rome, this was a must add to our travel gear. It’s light and compact and easy to grab even on the go. Quality is awesome!
