OUR STORY
The adventure begins
Our adventure began back in 1999, when we met cruisin’ Francis Lewis Blvd. For those of you that don’t know what that is, it’s a stretch of road that us youngsters would drive to pick up “guys or chicks”. Long story short, we first met on that strip.
Fast forward to 2003, our love for the road truly began. Kristin had just graduated college and Fernando had been laid off from being a stock broker. One night Kristin looked at Fernando and said, “Let’s drive cross country!” A few weeks later we hit the road on our cross country adventure.
On that excursion, we traveled 12,158.2 miles on the open road to California and back. It brought us to many National Parks and picturesque places. After spending 2 months on the road, unfortunately that journey came to an end, however traveling ignited a passion inside both of us.

Growing up with hippie parents, camping was ingrained in my blood. I literally was camping and exploring from when I was inside my mothers womb. That sense of nature never left me and has continued to grow.
I’ve had the privilege to have been to at least 28 National Parks in my lifetime, most of them before I was 12. The list of countries I have visited is slowly growing.
I’m happy Fernando has a sense of adventure. Every adventure opens your mind, so travel often.

Oi’ “Hello”! I was born in Sao Paulo, Brasil.
I’m always up for an adventure, whether it be a casual hike or jumping out of a plane, it’s on. Don’t dare me, because I’m bound to do whatever it may be. If you say it can’t be done, watch me make it happen. Music fuels my soul and I dream in different languages.
My desire to be in nature, travel and explore has led me on many adventures. I want to see the world, read all the books I can get my hands on, expand my taste for food and rack up as many adventures as I can with my favorite partner in crime.
